BMW Group SD Logistics Values (incl. master data) - Public Webinar
The training consists of several units in which practical examples and exercises are covered and discussed in addition to theory (rules, coding, application requirements). In a mix of remote events (webinar) and self-study, the participant is explained the process module system BMW Group Standard Data and the development background. After this training, the participant will be able to describe and evaluate processes and identify design potentials of processes and work systems.
The BMW Group Standard Data (BMW Group SD) has been developed on the basis of MTM-1 and MTM-UAS.
The BMW Group SD process building block system consists of:
- BMW Group SD Master Data
- BMW Group SD Multiple Purpose Data
- BMW Group SD Logistics

Admission Requirements
Participation in the BMW Group SD Multiple Purpose Data training requires the successful completion of the MTM-1 Base or MTM-1 examination.
Learning Objectives
The participant knows
- the operational process module system of the BMW Group SD (Master Data and Logistics) and the development background.
- the classification of the BMW Group SD in the systematics of the MTM process building block systems.
- the principles of the development of the BMW Group SD process building block system.
- the application requirements and application areas of BMW Group SD.
The participant can apply the BMW Group SD (Master Data and Logistics) practically, especially for
- Structuring, planning and design of processes and work systems.
- Description and evaluation of processes.
- Improvement of existing work systems.
- Development and description of company-specific modules.
Qualification
The training concludes with an examination. In exceptional cases, an additional oral examination may be arranged by the examination board.
After passing the exam, you will receive the BMW Group SD Applicator Card. In case of a failed examination, this will be communicated separately.
Hints
The webinar will be conducted via MS Teams. Please install the app on your computer, using the web version is less convenient.
7 days before the start of the training you will receive access to the digital training documents under MY MTM. You must be registered for this on our site https://training.mtm.org and have redeemed the participant code for this training.
