The webinar covers exactly the same contents as the public training courses. Apart from the theoretical part and practical demonstrations, the webinar provides interactive, training, and self-study phases.

Special feature: company examples are discussed in the ProKon training.

During the individual sessions a chat room is available for the participants to ask questions.

Participants in the webinar learn how to use ProKon (Produktionsgerechte Konstruktion, German for Production-Oriented Design) during the development phase to evaluate the ease of assembly of design alternatives. Based on influencing factors it is possible to identify assembly interferences.

You can write analyses with pen and paper. But it is also easier! We provide you with our TiCon software free of charge for this training - a time-limited, local version.

7 days before the start of the training you will get access to the course under MY MTM. You must be registered on our website https://training.mtm.org and have redeemed the participant code for this training. There you will find all further information on how to install the software. If you do not have admin rights on your computer, you should ask the IT specialists in your company to help you with the installation in good time before the start of the training.

Further course information

  • Structure of the ProKon analyzing form and explanation of its use
  • Essential rules for the consistent and correct application of ProKon
  • Simple practical exercises and practical examples to consolidate the gained knowledge

There are no admission requirements. To intensify the practical benefit, the participants are requested to bring products (samples) or design examples from their respective companies.

The participant knows

  • the criteria for the design of easy-to-assemble products,
  • the interferences that may occur during assembly owing to the product design; these interferences are classified with respect to manual or automated assembly.

The participant is able to

  • structure a product in such a way that a ProKon analysis can be created,
  • use ProKon for the design of easy-to-assemble products,
  • quantify, based on ProKon analyses, design variants for manual and / or automated assemblies and suggest target-oriented design solutions, and
  • define project targets for the design of easy-to-assemble products.

ProKon is a team-oriented webinar.

Based on their active participation in the team the participants receive a certificate.

When you book a training (or someone else books for you) you will always receive a participant code. Please redeem this code as soon as possible. 7 days before the start of the training, you will receive an email with all the concrete data about the training date - e.g. date and time of the test session, session times, link to the training documents and the course, ... You will only receive this email if you have redeemed your participant code beforehand.

The course will also be activated for you 7 days before the start of the training. You will then have access to the training material. There you will find a TiCon-zip file for installing the software. If you do not have admin rights on your computer, you should ask the IT specialists in your company to help you with the installation in good time before the start of the training.

The webinar will be conducted via MS Teams. Please install the app on your computer, using the web version is less convenient.
