MTM-UAS für students (public webinar) = part 2

The Basic MTM training is divided into two parts:

  • Part 1: MTM-1 Base training, duration = 5 days, online exam on the 5th day.
  • Part 2: MTM-UAS training, duration = 5 days, online exam on the last day

The training consists of several units in which practical examples and exercises are covered and discussed in addition to theory (rules, coding, application requirements). In a mix of remote events (webinar) and self-study, the participant is explained the MTM-UAS process module system and the development background as well as the principles of developing and describing standard processes in series production. After this training, the participant will be able to describe and evaluate processes and uncover design potentials of processes and work systems.

Further course information

The webinar will provide knowledge about the content and structure of the MTM-UAS process module system as well as the skills required for their application.

  • The MTM-UAS process module system and its development background
  • Principles of development as well as structure and content of the MTM-UAS basic processes
  • Rules for the uniform and proper application of the MTM-UAS process module system
  • Practical exercises to consolidate the knowledge imparted

Certificate MTM-1

The participant must be enrolled as a student.

The participant knows

  • the MTM-UAS process module system and the development background.
  • the classification of MTM-UAS in the systematics of MTM process module systems.
  • the significance of the method level in process type 2 and its influencing variables.
  • the application requirements and application areas of MTM-UAS.
  • the principles of development and description of standard processes in series production.

The participant will be able to apply the MTM-UAS process module system in practice, in particular to

  • structuring, planning and designing processes and work systems.
  • Description and evaluation of processes.
  • Revealing design potential in the planning and improvement of processes and work systems.
  • Develop and describe company-specific building blocks.

The webinar concludes with an online examination. In exceptional cases, an additional oral examination can be arranged by the examination board.

After passing the examination, a digital certificate will be issued. In the event of a failed examination, this will be communicated in a separate letter.
