MTM-2

The MTM-2 training provides the participants with basic knowledge of the theory of the MTM-2 process module system as well as the skills required for its application.

  • Practical exercises to consolidate the knowledge imparted

The participation in the training MTM-2 requires the successfully passed exam in MTM-1 Base.

The participant knows

  • the process module system MTM-2 and the development background.
  • the classification of MTM-2 in the systematics of the MTM process building block systems.
  • the principles of the development of the MTM-2 process building block system.
  • the application requirements and application areas of MTM-2.

The participant can apply MTM-2 practically, especially for

  • Structuring, planning and design of processes and work systems.
  • Description and evaluation of processes.
  • Improvement of existing work systems.
  • Development and description of company-specific modules.

The training MTM-2 concludes with a written examination. In exceptional cases an additional oral examination can be ordered by the examination board.

After passing the MTM-2 examination a certificate will be issued. In case the exam is not passed, this will be communicated in a separate letter and a neutral certificate of participation will be issued instead of the certificate.

 

When you book a training (or someone else books for you) you will always receive a participant code. Please redeem this code as soon as possible. 7 days before the start of the training, you will receive an email with all the concrete data about the training date - e.g. date and time of the test session, session times, link to the training documents and the course, ... You will only receive this email if you have redeemed your participant code beforehand.

The course will also be activated for you 7 days before the start of the training. You will then have access to the training material.

The webinar will be conducted via MS Teams. Please install the app on your computer, using the web version is less convenient.

Please ensure that your PC meets the following system requirements:

  • Windows: Microsoft Edge Chromium (latest version), Google Chrome (latest version), Firefox (latest version); Internet Explorer is NOT recommended!
  • Mac: Safari (latest version), Google Chrome (latest version), Firefox (latest version)
  • Mobile: Safari in Apple iOS 10 and higher, Google Chrome in Apple iOS 10 and higher, Google Chrome in Android OS 4.4 or higher.

We recommend using a headset to participate in each session.

Note on mobile devices:

Participation in this course is generally also possible with a tablet. Make sure you have a good Wi-Fi connection to prevent possible problems.

MTM-Practitioner

The training for MTM-Practitioner provides the participant with the knowledge and practical skills that are required to apply MTM process building blocks for planning, designing, and optimizing business processes and work systems.

You can write analyses with pen and paper. But it is also easier! We provide you with our TiCon software free of charge for this training - a time-limited, local version.

7 days before the start of the training you will get access to the course under MY MTM. You must be registered on our website https://training.mtm.org and have redeemed the participant code for this training. There you will find all further information on how to install the software. If you do not have admin rights on your computer, you should ask the IT specialists in your company to help you with the installation in good time before the start of the training.
