The training consists of several units in which theory (rules, coding, application requirements) as well as practical examples and exercises are discussed. In a mix of remote sessions (webinar) and self-study, the participant will learn about the process module system MTM-1 and the development background. After this training the participant can describe and evaluate processes and discover design potentials of processes and work systems.

Further course information

  • Deepening of the rules for the uniform and proper application of the process module system MTM-1
  • Practical exercises to reduce application errors or to increase application safety in the process module system MTM-1
  • Execution of analysis and synthesis of work processes with the help of MTM-1 process modules.
  • Completion of the MTM training ("Blue Card" and "Green Card") and its national and international significance

Participation in the webinar MTM-1 requires the successful completion of the exam in MTM-1 Base.

The participant knows

  • the procedure and the documents for creating planning and execution analyses with the process module system MTM-1.
  • the main conclusions of the MTM training ("Blue Card" and "Green Card") and their national and international significance.
  • further MTM methods, such as ProKon and EAWS, as well as MTM instruments, such as TiCon, and their significance and application in the PEP.

The participant can

  • MTM-1 analyses independently and has a safe handling of the MTM-1 set of rules.
  • Apply MTM-1 uniformly and appropriately in practice, especially for
o Planning and design of working methods, work processes and workplaces,
o Modelling (description and evaluation) of work content,
        o Improving existing work systems.
  • explain the basic MTM movements and their fundamental importance for the more highly aggregated MTM process building block systems.
  • assess which MTM process building block systems he can use meaningfully in his professional environment.
  • assess which further training courses are appropriate against his professional background.

The Webinar MTM-1 concludes with an online exam. In exceptional cases, an additional oral examination can be ordered by the examination board.

After passing the MTM-1 exam a certificate will be issued. In the case of a failed exam, this will be communicated in a separate letter and instead of a certificate, a neutral certificate of participation will be issued.
