Participation in the webinar C-Values requires the successful completion of the exam in MTM-1 Base. A minimum requirement for obtaining a C-Values certificate is also the participation in a two-day training course on the MTM-SD (Basic Data). This training provides the necessary, well-founded knowledge in the process module system MTM-SD as a basis for the C-Values.

Please note that Mercedes-Benz Group AG will decide on your participation. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that you fill out the form for request for MTM training and send it to the contact mentioned there.

The participant knows

• the operational process module system of Daimler MB planned time values (C-Values) and the development background.
• The classification of the Daimler MB planned time values (C-Values) in the system of the MTM process module systems.
• The principles of the development of the process module system of the Daimler MB planned time values (C-Values).
• The application requirements and areas of application of the Daimler MB planned time values (C-Values).

The participant can apply the Daimler MB planned time values (C-Values) practically, in particular for

• Structuring, planning and design of processes and work systems.
• Description and evaluation of processes.
• Improvement of existing work systems.
• Development and description of company-specific modules.

The training C-Values concludes with a written examination. In exceptional cases, an additional oral examination may be ordered by the examination board.

After passing the C-Values examination, a certificate is issued. In the case of a failed examination, this will be communicated in a separate letter and a neutral certificate of participation will be issued instead of the certificate.

C-Values Applicator
The prerequisite for the practical application of the C-Values in the operational environment of Daimler AG is the successful completion of the C-Value test. This proof is provided by the card "C-Value Applicator" and/or by a C-Value certificate. This demonstrates the ability to use the C-Values for planning, evaluation and design of processes.

The minimum requirements for obtaining the card "C-Value Applicator" are

• participation in a training MTM-1 Base (with examination)
• participation in a training MTM-SD (Basic Data) (without examination)
• the completion of the training C-Values (passed examination)

If these minimum requirements are met, the card "C-Value Applicator" is issued.

When you book a training (or someone else books for you) you will always receive a participant code. Please redeem this code as soon as possible. 7 days before the start of the training, you will receive an email with all the concrete data about the training date - e.g. date and time of the test session, session times, link to the training documents and the course, ... You will only receive this email if you have redeemed your participant code beforehand.

The course will also be activated for you 7 days before the start of the training. You will then have access to the training material.

The webinar will be conducted via MS Teams. Please install the app on your computer, using the web version is less convenient.

Please ensure that your PC meets the following system requirements:

• Mac: Safari (latest version), Google Chrome (latest version), Firefox (latest version)

We recommend using a headset to participate in each session.

Note on mobile devices:
Participation in this course is generally also possible with a tablet. Make sure you have a good Wi-Fi connection to prevent possible problems.

Practice materials:
For the practical demonstrations and exercises, please try to obtain and have the following materials ready:

• metric screw and nut
• Washer
• Screwdriver (cross, slot, torx, hex)
• Open-ended and ring spanners
• Pen with cap, ballpoint pen (if possible removable)
• a bottle of water

Please have the MTM-1 data card, a calculator, a pad and pen ready for the training sessions.
